UNIONBANK to BDO: Transfer Funds for FREE

Need to transfer funds from a Unionbank account to a BDO account? Do it for FREE!

OPTION 1: Send Money via Unionbank App

Transfer Mode: PESONet

1. Go to the Unionbank App and login.

2. Click on Send Money - Other Banks & E-wallets - PESONet - BDO.

3. Follow the subsequent in-app instructions.

If you do not prefer PESONet, the following indirect transfers provide InstaPay options:

OPTION 2: Indirect Transfer Via Bayad

1. Transfer funds from Unionbank to Bayad (Linked Bank Account).

2. Transfer funds from Bayad to BDO (InstaPay).

OPTION 3: Indirect Transfer Via CIMB

1. Transfer funds from Unionbank to CIMB (Dragonpay Bills Payment).

2. Transfer funds from CIMB to BDO (InstaPay).

OPTION 4: Indirect Transfer Via UNObank

1. Transfer funds from Unionbank to UNObank (Linked Bank Account).

2. Transfer funds from UNObank to BDO (InstaPay).

OPTION 5: Indirect Transfer Via ShopeePay and Seabank

1. Transfer funds from Unionbank to ShopeePay (Linked Bank Account).

2. Transfer funds from ShopeePay to Seabank (InstaPay).

3. Transfer funds from Seabank to BDO (InstaPay).

As of September 12, 2022, direct cash in from Unionbank Online from the Tonik app will incur a P30 transaction fee. Below option is not FREE anymore:

Indirect Transfer Via Tonik

1. Transfer funds from Unionbank to Tonik (InstaPay).

2. Transfer funds from Tonik to BDO (InstaPay).

As of August 10, 2022, Grab is now charging service fees for transfers to other banks/wallets. Below indirect transfer is not FREE anymore:

Indirect Transfer Via GrabPay

1. Transfer funds from Unionbank to GrabPay (Linked Bank Account).

2. Transfer funds from GrabPay to BDO (InstaPay).
